Freedom
The ability to leave when the weather and tides are right.
About YachtNot
A family yacht search, starting with the questions. Power or sail, life aboard and the boat that could fit us—alongside the GlassBridge technology build.

Hi, I’m Peter
I have spent around 20 years boating, and for the last decade our family boat has been a MasterCraft X55. We know how much fun a day boat can bring; the next chapter needs to become much more.
We are looking for a yacht that can support weekends away, longer stays aboard, swimming, diving, water toys, quiet evenings at anchor and the move from South Florida to the Bahamas when the conditions are right.
Why the channel starts now
Once someone owns the finished yacht, it is easy to tell a neat story about how everything worked out. The real journey is messier—and more useful.
We are starting by exploring what our family needs, how we want to travel and what ownership would involve. Named boats, viewings, surveys and the purchase decision will come when the brief is clearer.
What the brand stands for
The ability to leave when the weather and tides are right.
Weekends away, longer stays, swimming, diving and the Bahamas.
The failed negotiations, survey findings and wrong turns stay in the story.
Understand the machinery, systems and technology instead of treating the yacht as a black box.
“We are not looking for the boat that wins every category. We are looking for the compromise we can live with.”
YachtNotIndependent by design
YachtNot is an independent buyer’s editorial journey. It does not replace a broker, surveyor, engine technician, financial adviser, insurer or manufacturer documentation.
That independence is the point: viewers see the questions, evidence and compromises from the buyer’s side.
